Isleta Pueblo

The Isleta Casino & Resort is owned and operated by the Pueblo of Isleta. Originally established around the 1300s, the name Isleta is Spanish and means "Little Island."

History

Isleta has had a turbulent history. When the Pueblo Revolt began, many of the members fled to Hopi settlements in Arizona while others accompanied the Spanish in their retreat to El Paso del Norte.
